Description
Quick and delicious chocolate rolls made with quark, perfect for breakfast or as a sweet snack. Can be adapted for vegan diets.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 eggs (or 60g of soy milk for vegan option)
- 30g sugar (or more, to taste)
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 250g low-fat quark (or soy quark/soy skyr)
- 220g flour (Type 405 or 630)
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder (or 1.5 teaspoons without eggs)
- 50g chocolate drops
Instructions
- If using eggs, mix them with sugar and vanilla sugar in a Thermomix for 10 seconds at speed 5. For the vegan version, combine soy milk and sugar.
- Add quark, flour, baking powder, and chocolate drops to the mixture and mix for 40 seconds using the kneading function.
- Drop spoonfuls of sticky dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- For Airfryer: Cook at 200°C for around 7 minutes at low fan speed.
- For Oven: Bake in a preheated fan oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes until golden.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or freeze for longer storage. Thaw in the refrigerator before reheating.
