- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free all-purpose flour)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 large egg (for egg wash)
- Optional toppings: Everything Bagel Seasoning, Sesame Seeds, or Poppy Seeds
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the yogurt and mix until the dough is wet but crumbly.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead until smooth.
- Divide the dough into four equal pieces and shape into logs, then form circles by pinching ends together.
- Whisk the egg yolk with a splash of water for egg wash and brush over bagels.
- Sprinkle any desired toppings over each bagel.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and spray the basket with olive oil.
- Place bagels in the air fryer, cooking for 10 minutes (check at 8-9 minutes).
- Remove when golden and puffed, and let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for up to a month.
