- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 jar (8 oz) of salsa
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until there’s no pink left. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning.
- Spread the softened cream cheese evenly on the bottom of a pie dish.
- Pour salsa over the cream cheese layer.
- Spoon the seasoned meat over the salsa.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Feel free to customize the heat level of the salsa and experiment with different cheeses.
