- 1 cup (240 ml) marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or any preferred toppings)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, eggs, and marinara sauce. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the shredded mozzarella, dried oregano, garlic powder, and chopped basil.
- Grease a pie pan or oven-safe skillet with a bit of olive oil.
- Spread the cheesy mixture evenly into the prepared dish.
- Add the sliced pepperoni or your choice of toppings on top.
- Place it in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes until it’s golden brown and bubbly.
- After removing it from the oven, let it cool for about 10 minutes. Slice it into wedges and serve warm.
Notes
Pairs well with a fresh side salad or dipping sauce like ranch or marinara. For a creamier texture, opt for whole-fat cottage cheese.
