Description

Indulge in these delicious 7 Layer Bars, also known as Magic Cookie Bars, featuring layers of chocolate, butterscotch, coconut, and a graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. Spread the melted butter evenly across the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumbs over the butter, pressing gently to form an even crust.
  4. Layer the chocolate chips, followed by the butterscotch chips. Sprinkle the chopped nuts, then add a generous layer of shredded coconut.
  5. Slowly drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the entire pan.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan, then chill in the fridge for an hour before slicing.

Notes

For clean cuts, chill the bars before slicing and serve warm or cold. Pair with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
