- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- ½ cup warm water (about 110°F)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar, stirring them together until well mixed.
- Slowly add the warm water and olive oil into the dry mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead it for about 5 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes to allow it to rise a little.
- Shape the dough into a round loaf or oval, depending on the size of your air fryer basket.
- Line your air fryer basket with parchment paper or grease it lightly to prevent sticking. Place the dough inside.
- Preheat your air fryer to 330°F. Bake the bread for 15 to 18 minutes or until the top turns golden and it sounds hollow when tapped.
- Carefully remove the bread from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into it.
Notes
For best results, ensure warm water is around 110°F to activate yeast. Kneading is crucial for gluten development.
