Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes (leftover or freshly made)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine your mashed potatoes, shredded cheese, and the egg. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Gently mix until everything is well incorporated.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  4. Roll each potato ball in breadcrumbs until thoroughly coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  7. Place the potato balls in the basket, spaced apart for even cooking.
  8. Air fry for approximately 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy every cheesy bite!

Notes

For extra crunch, double-dip the potato balls in egg and breadcrumbs. Experiment with different cheeses like mozzarella or feta for a unique flavor.
