Description

A quick and delightful breakfast dish combining crispy toast, perfectly cooked eggs, and melty cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of thick bread (sourdough or sandwich bread)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. If desired, lightly butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. Press a small well into the center of each slice of bread.
  4. Crack one egg into each well, taking care not to break the yolk.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges or over the egg whites.
  6. Air fry the toast for 6–8 minutes, or until the egg whites are set and cheese is melted.
  7. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs before serving hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for 1-2 months. Reheat in the air fryer or toaster for optimal texture.
