Crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, these Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks are a healthier take on a favorite snack.
Ingredients

- 12 mozzarella sticks
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Freeze the mozzarella sticks for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
- Set up your breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a breadcrumb mixture.
- Dredge each mozzarella stick by coating it in flour, dipping into the egg, and covering in the breadcrumb mix.
- Arrange the sticks in the air fryer basket without touching, and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute gluten-free breadcrumbs.
