Description
Delicious air fryer crispy potato wedges that are easy to prepare and provide a healthier alternative to deep-fried potatoes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 medium russet potatoes, washed and cut into wedges
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Optional: fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional: ketchup, aioli, or your favorite dipping sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the potatoes: After washing, cut each potato into evenly sized wedges to ensure they cook uniformly. Pat them dry with a paper towel to eliminate excess moisture, which enhances crispiness.
- Season the wedges: In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil until well-coated. Add garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Make sure each wedge is fully covered for maximum flavor.
- Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat for 3–5 minutes, preparing it for immediate cooking.
- Air fry the wedges: Place the seasoned wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding. Cook for 20–25 minutes, shaking or flipping halfway through to ensure even browning and crisping.
- Serve the wedges: Once golden brown and crisp, transfer the wedges to a serving platter. Optionally, top with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color, and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
