Alabama Fire Cracker Dip

  • Total Time: 120 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

A creamy, cheesy dip with a kick of spice, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 (1 ounce) package dry Italian dressing mix
  • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies (undrained)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños (chopped, adjust based on your spice preference)
  • Crackers (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Begin by ensuring your cream cheese is softened. If necessary, microwave in 15-second intervals until softened, stirring to avoid melting.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise together with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  3. Add the dry ranch dressing mix and dry Italian dressing mix, mixing until they are fully integrated.
  4. Fold in the undrained chopped green chilies, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  5. Stir in the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese until well incorporated.
  6. Add the chopped green onions and pickled jalapeños. Adjust the amount of jalapeños to cater to your taste. Mix everything until combined.
  7. Cover the dip and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes, or better yet, overnight for the flavors to meld beautifully.
  8. Before serving, give it a good stir to revitalize the blend and transfer it to your favorite serving bowl.

Notes

Serve chilled with a variety of crackers, fresh veggies, or tortilla chips. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to one week.
