Ingredients

- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well mixed.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop out portions of the dough and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
