  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until well mixed.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together melted coconut oil, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop out portions of the dough and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
