Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour and baking powder until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, maple syrup, and melted butter or coconut oil until smooth.
- Gently pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix with a spatula until just combined.
- If desired, fold in your chosen add-ins such as chocolate chips, fresh berries, or lemon zest.
- Use a spoon or small cookie scoop to portion the dough into rounded mounds on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm!
Notes
For dairy-free options, swap unsalted butter with coconut oil. Store in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to a month.
