- 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Take a 9×13 inch cake pan and grease it well, then dust it with flour.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Whisk together both sugars, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Carefully fold in the chopped apples.
- Pour the batter into your prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan before serving.
Notes
Can be served plain, with powdered sugar, or topped with ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers wrapped at room temperature for up to three days or freeze individual slices.
