Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs, then mix in the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and milk.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped apples to distribute them evenly in the batter.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon for the topping, then sprinkle half of this mixture over the first layer of batter.
- Add the remaining batter on top, then sprinkle the remainder of the cinnamon sugar mix.
- Use a knife or skewer to swirl through the batter for a marbled look.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow it to cool slightly before mixing the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze. Drizzle it over the cooled bread.
- Slice and serve!
