- 1 pie crust
- 2 cups apple butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the apple butter, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
- Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally with whipped cream.
