  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Deliciously warm apple fritter bites filled with tender, cinnamon-spiced apples, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups peeled, diced apples
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the milk and egg. Pour this mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients, and stir just until combined.
  3. Gently fold in the diced apples, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  4. In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the fritters from the oil and drain them on paper towels to remove excess grease.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, and enjoy the warmth of this delightful treat!

Notes
