Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh lump crab meat
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, green onions, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Gently fold in the crab meat, being careful not to break the large chunks too much.
- Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- For extra crispiness, you might lightly brush the crab balls with oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until they turn a lovely golden brown.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
