Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound beef filet
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cups tomato sauce
- Toothpicks or kitchen twine
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
- Lay the beef filet on a cutting board and pound it gently with a meat mallet until it achieves a uniform thickness of about 1/4-inch.
- Spread the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the beef, then roll it up tightly from one end and secure it with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Sear the beef roulades on all sides until nicely browned.

- Cover the dish with foil, then place it in the oven to bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.
- Once done, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
