Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced (any color)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pan over medium-high heat, heat the vegetable oil.
  2. Add the sliced chicken and sauté until it is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, mixing for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Cook until they are tender, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper, mixing well.
  6. Allow it to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
  7. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For best results, consider marinating the chicken in soy sauce and black pepper for 15-30 minutes prior to cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
