Description

Delicious Italian meatballs made with a blend of ground beef and pork, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian-style)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Mix everything together until just combined—avoid overmixing to keep the meatballs tender.
  4. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  6. Bake them for about 20-25 minutes or until they are thoroughly cooked and golden.
  7. Serve your meatballs with warmed marinara sauce on the side. Enjoy!

Notes

These meatballs freeze beautifully. Store in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for longer storage.
