Description

A creamy and indulgent pasta dish featuring tender chicken and rich Boursin cheese, perfect for a quick family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 package (5.2 oz) Boursin cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain it and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until browned and fully cooked. Remove from the pan and slice into strips.
  3. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in the Boursin cheese along with the heavy cream and mix until you have a smooth and creamy sauce.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken back into the skillet, tossing to coat everything well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a milk alternative. Add a splash of white wine for extra flavor, or toss in some spinach or sun-dried tomatoes.
