Ingredients

  • 1 package Little Smokies (mini smoked sausages)
  • 1 package regular-cut bacon (cut in half)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • Black pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the bacon slices in half and wrap each Little Smokie with a half slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick.
  3. In a zip-top bag, combine the brown sugar and bacon-wrapped sausages. Shake to coat.
  4. Arrange the coated Little Smokies on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, sprinkling leftover brown sugar and black pepper on top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the sugar has caramelized. Broil for 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness if desired.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
