- 1 package Little Smokies
- 1 package regular-cut bacon, cut in half
- 1 cup brown sugar
- Black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Cut the bacon slices in half.
- Wrap a half slice of bacon around each Little Smokie, securing with a toothpick.
- In a zip-top bag, add brown sugar and a few bacon-wrapped smokies; shake to coat.
- Arrange the coated smokies on the prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle any leftover brown sugar on top and add black pepper if desired.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until bacon is crispy and sugar is caramelized, broil for 1–2 minutes if extra crispiness is desired.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Serve with creamy dips or pair with veggie platters for added crunch. Leftovers store well in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
