- 8 oz pasta (your choice)
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set it aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and let rest before slicing.
- Using the same skillet, add minced garlic and halved cherry tomatoes. Cook until the tomatoes soften, about 3-4 minutes.
- Toss the cooked pasta and sliced chicken back into the skillet, mixing well. Add fresh basil at the very end for maximum flavor.
- Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
