Description
Delicious Buffalo Chicken Bacon Mozzarella Bombs, perfect for game day or family gatherings, packed with flavor and crispy perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (cut into cubes)
- 6 slices Cooked Bacon (crumbled)
- 1 lb Ground Chicken (or substitute with ground turkey or lean beef)
- 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce (adjust according to your spice preference)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 cup Plain Flour
- 2 large Eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko recommended for extra crunch)
- 2 cups Vegetable or Canola Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, crumbled bacon, mozzarella cubes, Buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the Bombs: Take a handful of the mixture, about the size of a golf ball, and roll into a ball. Repeat until all the mixture is used.
- Coat the Bombs: Set up a breading station. Dredge each bomb in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs until fully covered.
- Fry: In a large, deep skillet or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully place a few bombs into the oil and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F for safe consumption.
- Drain and Serve: Remove the bombs and let them drain on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil. Serve warm!
Notes
Best served with ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce and paired with celery and carrot sticks.
