Description

A rich and flavorful Cajun beef spaghetti dish enveloped in a creamy three-cheese parmesan sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 400g spaghetti
  • 450g diced sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 100g cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. Toss the diced beef with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
  3. In a hot skillet, melt the butter and sear the beef over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the beef and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add in the heavy cream along with the cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese melts completely.
  6. Gradually mix in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Return the cooked beef and spaghetti to the skillet. Toss everything together to evenly coat in the cheesy sauce.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
  9. Enjoy while hot, with extra Parmesan and Cajun spice on the side, if desired.

Notes

For a twist, consider using ground beef or chicken instead of steak, or substitute with tofu or chickpeas for a plant-based option.
