Description
A rich and flavorful Cajun beef spaghetti dish enveloped in a creamy three-cheese parmesan sauce, perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 400g spaghetti
- 450g diced sirloin or ribeye steak
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 100g cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- Toss the diced beef with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
- In a hot skillet, melt the butter and sear the beef over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the beef and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add in the heavy cream along with the cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese melts completely.
- Gradually mix in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Return the cooked beef and spaghetti to the skillet. Toss everything together to evenly coat in the cheesy sauce.
- Season with salt and black pepper. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
- Enjoy while hot, with extra Parmesan and Cajun spice on the side, if desired.
Notes
For a twist, consider using ground beef or chicken instead of steak, or substitute with tofu or chickpeas for a plant-based option.
