Description

A flavorful and creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta that’s perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil water and cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes on each side. Remove from the skillet and slice.
  3. In the same skillet, add diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté until the vegetables are soft.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Simmer and thicken slightly for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken back into the skillet, mixing everything together. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Plate while hot, garnishing with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

Serve with garlic bread or a green salad for a complete meal. For extra kick, add a dash of hot sauce.
