Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Hamburger buns
- Pickles (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add ground chicken. Cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Sprinkle in Cajun seasoning and mix well.
- Stir in ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
- Simmer for 5-10 minutes, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the chicken mixture on hamburger buns, topped with pickles if desired.
Notes
Feel free to swap out the ground chicken for lean ground turkey or plant-based meat for a lighter option.
