Description
An indulgent pasta dish combining rich Alfredo sauce, creamy cheese, and a hint of Cajun spice, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 15 oz Alfredo sauce
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Parmesan cheese (for topping)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it apart as you cook until it’s browned and fully cooked. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Lower the heat and stir in the cream cheese until it’s melted and admires the beef. Add the Alfredo sauce and mix until fully combined.
- Toss the drained bowtie pasta into the skillet, mixing thoroughly until every piece is well-coated with the rich sauce.
- Plate the dish hot, topping it with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for a pop of color.
Notes
For variations, substitute ground beef with shrimp for a seafood twist or use plant-based meat alternatives for a vegetarian version.
