Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and bake the cake according to the package instructions. Allow it to cool completely on a wire rack.
  2. Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces in a large mixing bowl.
  3. If desired, mix in food coloring to achieve vibrant cake layers.
  4. In push pop containers, layer the crumbled cake and frosting, starting with cake, then frosting, and repeat until filled.
  5. Top each pop with sprinkles or edible glitter and optional fresh fruit or candy.
