- 2 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/3 cups French fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 1.5-quart baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the French fried onions. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until heated through.
- Sprinkle remaining onions on top and bake for another 5-10 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
For a crispy topping, broil for a minute or two after baking. You can also add garlic powder or soy sauce for extra flavor.
