Description
Savory kielbasa pieces are coated in a sweet and tangy glaze for an irresistible party appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds kielbasa sausage (sliced into ½-inch thick rounds)
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (or yellow mustard if preferred)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for depth)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet or casserole dish with foil for easy cleanup.
- Slice the kielbasa into bite-sized rounds and arrange them in a single layer in the prepared dish.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Heat over medium-low heat until the sugar dissolves and the sauce is smooth.
- Pour the glaze evenly over the kielbasa pieces, stirring or tossing lightly to ensure they’re well coated.
- Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the sauce thickens and caramelizes onto the sausage.
Notes
Serve with toothpicks for easy snacking. Pairs well with a refreshing side salad or rice.
