- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped (try Granny Smith for a tart bite)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the greased dish.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until well blended.
- Fold in the chopped apples and cinnamon carefully to maintain some apple texture. Pour this mixture over the crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Once cooled, drizzle with caramel sauce and then cut into bars.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For an enhanced experience, top with whipped cream or nuts. These bars can also be frozen for longer storage.
