- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped apples (such as Granny Smith)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar until well combined. Press mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
- In another bowl, combine chopped apples with cinnamon and nutmeg. Spread the apple mixture over the cheesecake layer. Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set. Let cool in the pan, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars.
Notes
For serving, top with whipped cream or extra cinnamon for added flavor and garnish.
