Ingredients

  • 1 package of brownie mix (follow the additional ingredient instructions on the package)
  • 24 ounces (three 8-ounce packages) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Prepare the brownie mix following the package instructions.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the greased pan and bake according to package instructions. Allow it to cool completely.
  5. Once cooled, reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
  6. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with the sugar until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  7. Add vanilla, eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream into the cream cheese mixture and blend until smooth.
  8. Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie base.
  9. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the cheesecake and create a marbled effect with a knife.
  10. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  11. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool gradually in the oven for about an hour.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  13. Garnish with whipped cream, extra caramel sauce, and chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or fresh fruit. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
