Description

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works wonderfully!)
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until softened and fragrant.
  3. Pour the chicken broth into the pot and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  5. Stir in the shredded chicken and cheese. Add the heavy cream last.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed.
  7. Once heated through, serve hot and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes
