- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ cup crispy fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
- Boil or steam the green beans until they’re tender-crisp; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in butter until softened.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, cream cheese, milk, sharp cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in the green beans and transfer the mixture to your greased baking dish.
- Top the casserole with any remaining shredded cheese and crispy fried onions.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until it’s hot and bubbly.
