- 4 (14.5 oz) cans French cut green beans, drained
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of celery soup
- 1 (6 oz) container French fried onions
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated and divided
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, mix the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, cream of celery soup, half of the French fried onions, half of the sharp cheddar cheese, and kosher salt until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top, followed by the remaining French fried onions.
- Bake for one hour, turning halfway through for an even golden crust.
- Allow the casserole to cool for about 20 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crunchier topping, layer the French fried onions generously. You can also add a splash of milk for creaminess.
