Description

Delightful and filling Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread Bowls filled with juicy chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, and al dente pasta, all served in crispy, toasted bread bowls.


Ingredients

  • 3 pieces Chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 pound Pasta, such as penne or fettuccine
  • 6 pieces Kaiser rolls (or more, as needed)
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
  • 34 teaspoons Garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken cubes with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat in a skillet, then cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes or until fully cooked.
  3. In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain well.
  4. Cut off the tops of the Kaiser rolls and carefully hollow out the centers to form bowls.
  5. Combine the melted butter with garlic and herb seasoning. Brush this mixture inside and on the edges of the bread bowls.
  6. Bake the hollowed rolls for about 4-5 minutes until they are lightly toasted.
  7. In a bowl, mix the drained pasta with the cooked chicken and Alfredo sauce until everything is nicely coated.
  8. Fill each toasted bread bowl with the chicken Alfredo mixture and top generously with shredded parmesan cheese.
  9. Return the filled bowls to the oven for another 4-5 minutes until the cheese has melted and the bread is crispy.
  10. Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh parsley or red pepper flakes for an extra kick.

Consider pairing with a light salad or garlic breadsticks for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
