Description
A delightful comfort food that combines creamy chicken Alfredo pasta served in crispy garlic bread bowls.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 pieces of chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1 pound of pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
- 6 pieces of Kaiser rolls (or more if needed)
- 1 jar of Alfredo sauce (about 15 oz)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3–4 teaspoons of garlic and herb seasoning
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- In a bowl, season the cubed chicken breasts with garlic and herb seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes until fully cooked.
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add your pasta and cook until al dente, then drain it well.
- Slice off the tops of the Kaiser rolls and gently hollow out the insides, creating bowls.
- Combine melted butter with garlic and herb seasoning. Brush this mixture inside and around the edges of your hollowed bread bowls.
- Place the bread bowls in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 4-5 minutes until they are lightly toasted.
- In the skillet with the chicken, add the drained pasta and Alfredo sauce. Stir well to combine.
- Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture into your crispy bread bowls and top with shredded Parmesan cheese.
- Return the filled bread bowls to the oven and bake for an additional 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crispy.
- Garnish with parsley or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired, and enjoy while hot!
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Best reheated in the oven to maintain crispiness.
