- 8 ounces pasta (penne or rotini)
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream or milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, combine cooked chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch seasoning, ranch dressing, and cream or milk over medium heat. Stir until everything is mixed well.
- Add the cooked pasta into the skillet and mix until fully coated in the creamy sauce.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and continue cooking until the cheese melts and everything is heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- If you want a baked version, transfer everything to a baking dish, top with more cheese, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For a time-saving hack, use rotisserie chicken. To lighten the dish, consider using Greek yogurt instead of cream.
