- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp melted butter, optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, frozen vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Fold in the quartered biscuit pieces until they are well-coated with the creamy filling.
- Pour the mixture into your prepared dish and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the biscuits puff up and turn golden brown.
- If desired, brush with melted butter before serving.
Notes
For a richer sauce, consider adding ranch seasoning or a dash of hot sauce. You can also swap frozen veggies for fresh ones, ensuring they are cooked first.
