- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing gently to coat with garlic butter.
- Slice the rested chicken and serve on top of the noodles; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
For a healthier twist, opt for whole wheat noodles or substitute chicken with your preferred protein.
