  • 2 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the ground beef, cooking it until it’s nicely browned.
  4. Stir in the sliced shiitake mushrooms and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they’re tender.
  5. Add the chopped cabbage and soy sauce, stir-frying everything until the cabbage is cooked but retains a slight crunch.
  6. Drizzle the sesame oil over the stir-fry, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
