- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups cabbage, chopped
- 1 cup shiitake mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss in the ground beef, cooking it until it’s nicely browned.
- Stir in the sliced shiitake mushrooms and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they’re tender.
- Add the chopped cabbage and soy sauce, stir-frying everything until the cabbage is cooked but retains a slight crunch.
- Drizzle the sesame oil over the stir-fry, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
