Description
Decadent brownies infused with chocolate and fresh strawberries, topped with a luxurious chocolate ganache.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and stir in the granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and salt together. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Layer the sliced strawberries on top, then pour the remaining brownie batter over the strawberries.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- For the chocolate ganache, heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth and glossy.
- Once the brownies have cooled, pour the chocolate ganache over the top, allowing it to drizzle down the sides.
- Let it set, then slice, and serve.
Notes
Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
