Description

A delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake and warm churro flavors, all in a buttery crescent roll crust, topped with a sugary cinnamon coating.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (plus an additional ¾ cup for the filling)
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the crescent dough and lay half of it in a greased baking dish.
  3. Mix the softened cream cheese, ¾ cup granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the crust evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining crescent dough as a topping.
  6. Mix the remaining sugar with ground cinnamon and sprinkle over the top.
  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and just set.
  8. Cool before cutting into pieces and serving.

Notes

Serve warm or chilled, topped with chocolate sauce or whipped cream for an extra indulgence.
