- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (like pecans or walnuts)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter (melted)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cube the bread and place those delightful morsels into your dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until everything is well blended.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ensuring each piece is nicely coated.
- In another bowl, combine the chopped nuts, brown sugar, and melted butter, then sprinkle this crunchy mixture on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.

Notes
