- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk (for the glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, and set aside.
- In another large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine the ground cinnamon with a bit of sugar to create the cinnamon filling.
- Roll out your dough on a floured surface into a rectangle, sprinkle with the cinnamon mixture, and roll it up tightly like a log.
- Slice the rolled dough into cookies, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until they’re golden and aromatic.
- For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until you reach your desired consistency, then drizzle over the warm cookies before serving.
