  • Yield: 2 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Deliciously crispy and sweet banana chips made in the air fryer, perfect for a healthy snack or movie night.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Cooking spray (optional for easy cleanup)

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into uniform thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 330°F (165°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together coconut or brown sugar with ground cinnamon.
  4. In a mixing bowl, gently toss the banana slices with the cinnamon-sugar mixture until lightly coated.
  5. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Air fry for 10–14 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp.
  7. Let the chips cool on a wire rack for 5–10 minutes to crisp up even more.

Notes

To achieve the perfect chip, ensure banana slices are uniformly thin. Adjust cinnamon-sugar mixture according to taste. Consider adding spices like nutmeg for extra flavor.
